Backflow prevention testing

Municipalities across Metro Vancouver require backflow prevention assemblies to be tested on a set schedule by a certified tester, with the report filed to the city. Missing a test can put a property out of compliance.

Chang’s EMSD is BCWWA-certified for backflow assembly testing, and holds the plumbing ticket needed to repair or replace an assembly that fails — so a failed test does not mean finding a second trade.
